On behalf of the NTID Alumni Association Board of Directors, it is our privilege to share information about our plans for the future.

On behalf of the NTID Alumni Association Board of Directors, it is our privilege to share information about our plans for the future. The newly seated board consists of 17 members from a wide variety of SVP and graduating classes, a multitude of colleges and majors, and various employment experiences and backgrounds. Each member of the NTIDAA Board brings great energy and vitality to the team.

The purpose of the NTIDAABOD is to promote alumni activities that assist RIT, NTID and the NTID Alumni Association. The new board members met for the first time on May 1, 2009, and formed five committees:

Executive & Nominating Committee – Erin Esposito, Howard Mann, Angela Officer, Christine Corrado and Matthew Driscoll

Alumni Programming Committee – Chair, Matthew Driscoll, NTID Alumni Relations director

Communications Committee – Chair, Angie Officer

Development Committee – Chair, Howard Mann

Student/Alumni-in-Training Committee – Chair, Erin Esposito

The NTID Alumni Association will grow by inviting diverse groups of alumni to become members of our board of directors. There are so many talented and enthusiastic RIT/NTID alumni, and we intend to capitalize on their talents, including our younger alumni. In the days ahead, we will examine ways to strengthen our ability to serve.

We need your support and participation—so join us! We welcome your input on activities and events. Visit the NTIDAA website to meet the board and learn more about the events and services we offer to alumni. Better still, meet the board in person at RIT Brick City Homecoming October 9 -11.

Regards,

Erin Esposito, Chairperson
Howard Mann, Vice Chairperson
Angie Officer, Secretary

A heartfelt thank you to the thousands of alumni who chose to make a difference this year by making a gift to RIT/NTID.

A heartfelt thank you to the thousands of alumni who chose to make a difference this year by making a gift to RIT/NTID. Your gift means more than ever to students working hard to make their educational dreams a reality. By giving back to your alma mater, you help RIT/NTID maintain excellence, enhance programs and facilities and produce fellow alumni who will be prepared for career success in the 21st century.

Alumni support is critical to help close the gap between college costs and what is covered by tuition. You can choose to support a specific program or an endowed scholarship fund. Wherever your gift is directed, it helps RIT/NTID support student success. Again, thank you for supporting RIT/NTID. And if you have yet to give, now is the perfect time!
