Oh My God! I graduated from NTID/RIT in 1973. I am kicking myself for not attending a NTID Alumni reception for several years. Please let me know in advance so I can plan to see the wonderful old faces…truly! Janet and Alfredo Manfredino were my guests for a glorious week last April.
Oh… A current high school teacher of Los Angeles Unified School District… I filed a lawsuit against the district for not providing access to communication and devices for my need in the work environment. I won but haven t sign the papers because there are missing pieces in the settlement. Sigh. Why does it have to be complicated?? But I have learned so much how to be an advocate for the Deaf teachers and students. I am proud to be part of the UCLA Public Health Department. I teach “Deaf Awareness in the Medical Environment” to the premed students. I have two wonderful adult children. One is a lawyer and the other is searching for his identity. Smile. Oh Oh…gotta see you guys!!!! Hugs, Nanci
Nancy Jagielski Kendall Bazzell. HAHAH!
Correction on Nancy Jagielski’s comment – our last name spells this way “Manfredonio” and please please drop the last letter of my first name. By the way, indeed it was great seeing her after more than 40 years. Boy, where did the time go??? Sorry to miss you all at DSC in Las Vegas. For some reason, I don’t feel “old” just yet. But I promise I will attend the next DSC. Stay young and be well!
