RIT/NTID Alumni of the Pacific Northwest

RIT/NTID Alumni of the Pacific Northwest is a new alumni chapter for Oregon & Washington State combined. We have reconnected with 85 former NTID students (and still growing) from both states as an alumni community. On October 15, the new chapter had a booth at DeafNation Expo in Portland, Or., to showcase NTID's new Sebastian and Lenore Rosica Hall, and the chapter's new Facebook fan page (to join, type "RIT/NTID Alumni Chapter: Pacific Northwest"). The next exciting event is the "Bowl-A-Thon" in Beaverton, OR on November 13, for which donation proceeds go to the new building.Thanks to NTID administrators for their support in DeafNation Portland and the Bowl-A-Thon.

We hope to have the new NTID Director of Alumni Relations onboard by late spring. The search committee currently is conducting a review of candidate cover letters and resumes.  Campus interviews will begin in the weeks ahead.
