April Stress Brings May Success!

It’s already well into April and we’ve had the normal April showers but today was a little bit different! With a high around 77 degrees, students took advantage and spent as much time as they could outdoors. Sitting in the grass, soaking up the sun, chatting with friends, grabbing an iced coffee, it’s safe to say spring will be here to stay!

April also means its getting closer to the end of the semester which brings added stress to our student body, myself included. I’ve been accepted to Canisius College for their Graduate program in Higher Education Student Administration and I’m currently finishing up interviews for Graduate Assistantship positions. Now comes the waiting game! More added stress for me! I’m also currently in the midst of my Capstone project which is essentially a final project before I graduate. Hopefully all this stress now will soothe when I’m handed my diploma!

Humans Vs Zombies has also started up again which is a competition where one person starts off as a Zombie and tries to infect other Humans. Students are prepared with their orange and blue nerf guns and green badanas, watching the humans try to make their way to classes while constantly moving their heads like chickens gives me a chuckle.

Hope you had fun catching up on the happening on our campus!
