Truckloads of Projects and Nearing Finals Week

Hey everyone!

I just did a lot of work over this week, and I finally got around to this blog. I’ve been up late at night fighting my art projects like batman fights his street thugs. Anyways I just handed in seven projects on Monday, yep, you read that right…seven projects. Then I handed in another project on Tuesday, and one more on Thursday, plus, there’s another project due next Monday. The reason why there’s so many projects now is because of how semesters are set up. The classes usually bump up their workload if we are nearing finals week. After constant cups of coffee, and midnight snack runs to the corner store, which stays open until 2 am, all week, which is pretty gosh darn convenient (especially to those art majors who forget to eat all day due to working). I finally finished the majority of work due before thanksgiving, which is awesome because I depart for the garden (but not really a garden) state. It may be a lot of work but the positive thing is that its all fun! To be honest, I don’t feel like I’m going to school everyday, I look forward to going to classes. Well, looks like it’s back to work for me,

Catch you later!

About Dylan

Major: Industrial Design

Hometown: Jackson, N.J.

Why I Chose RIT: I’ve wanted to pursue my dreams of being an Industrial Designer since I was a freshman in high school. When I discovered that RIT had deaf students and one of the best Industrial Design programs in the country, I knew RIT was right for me.

Clubs/Activities: Swim, go to the gym and create art.

Hobbies/Interests: A hobby of mine is restoring old cars. I have a 1966 Ford truck that I drive at home, and I started work on a 1950 Chevy coupe over the summer. It’s a true passion of mine. I'm also interested in motorcycles.

What I like Best About RIT: The best part of RIT is interacting with deaf and hard-of-hearing people as well as hearing people all on one campus. The opportunities I get at RIT as a result of these interactions are second to none.

Favorite T.V. Show: “Doctor Who,” “Lost,” “Breaking Bad” and “Smallville.”

Fun Fact About Me: I travel frequently. I've been to several countries including Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Portugal, to name a few.
