Week 12: Breakfast for Dinner

What a weekend!

I just wrapped up an exciting weekend that consisted of going out into the windy city of Rochester, attending the RIT men’s wrestling match, making a late night Denny’s run, and spending a busy day with my mom! My boss let me off work early Friday night, so I decided to grab some dinner with friends and hang out for the night, and woke up early the next morning…by my standards! I got to watch my buddy Eddie, who’s a fellow deaf athlete representing the good ol’ RIT wrestling team. I crushed a Mascot (RIT’s signature sandwich…made with the elixir of the gods/Tiger Sauce) while watching the match. The Tigers beat Oswego State!

After that, I decided to get some work in with my teammates. We hit up the batting cages and took a few swings while the fans packed Ritter Arena for the women’s hockey game against Penn State. The Tigers swept the day…what a day to be a Tiger!

After all that hanging out, my stomach started to growl. All I could think of was….a breakfast for dinner at Denny’s. So I drove my buddies over there around 10:00 p.m., and I INHALED some french toast, hash browns, and egg whites. With a food coma looming in the near future, I decided to call it a night and conked out. My mom then stopped by in the morning to take me to Jay’s Diner (another popular place for RIT students–great diner and it’s open almost 24/7)…so I downed some more food and then hung out with her for the day. I love my mom!

Now I’m just hanging out, getting ready to attack Week 13 and enjoy myself!

Stay classy, Rochester!
