Associate Professor
Barbara Ray Holcomb received her BS from SUNY - Brockport in Interdisciplinary Arts with a minor in Theater. Her MS degree in Career and Human Resource Development was completed at RIT. She holds Professional Certification from the American Sign Language Teachers Association (ASLTA) and serves as ASLTA certification evaluator. She is a past vice president of ASLTA and serves as Faculty Advisor of the RITSIGN program. She has presented numerous workshops on sign language teaching and Deaf culture throughout the country. She has conducted a simulation game called, "It's a Deaf, Deaf World," to a variety of groups throughout the country as well.
