Jason worked at the Deaf Studies Lab under Dr. Peter Hauser for the past five years. The lab primarily focuses on the Deaf Experience and how it influences such areas such as psychosocial, cognition, and language. After working in the research lab, Jason decided to build his teaching experience. His Master’s thesis focused on Deaf Adolescents’ Resilience.
Jason continues to study the resilience of Deaf adolescents as well ASL linguistics. With his ongoing passion for ASL, he continues to expand his knowledge and experience while teaching in the ASLIE department. He plans to further his education and eventually earn a Ph.D. in the field of Education.
Jason enjoys nature, dachshunds, interior design, traveling, and research.
