Colleen Evenstad Colleen Evenstad is currently a visiting instructor at NTID/RIT teaching American Sign Language. Colleen graduated from Western Maryland College with an MS in ASL instruction. She had worked in a variety of roles for NTID's Pre-AAS summer program, including program coordinator. In addition, Colleen has given many ASL workshops. Her expertise is fingerspelling and numbers. For eight years, she has been involved with local Deaf theatre working as an ASL consultant, director, and various other "behind-the-scenes" jobs. Currently, she is the artistic director of Lights ON! Deaf Theatre Company. Colleen is a board member and co-president for the Genesee Valley Region Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.
