FINGERSPELLING & NUMBERS PRACTICE #235
Description
The course is for American Sign Language students who have completed the Language Learning strand.
This practice/review course provides an overview of how fingerspelling and cardinal & ordinal numbers are used in a variety
of contexts. Strategies for development of expressive and receptive skills are practiced. Activities include lecture,
discussion, demonstration, practice, exercises, and laboratory assignments. Students are responsible for regular videotaping
of themselves in preparation for classroom review/discussion incorporating instructor feedback.
Prerequisites: SCPI rating of Survival Plus or above, and completion of Completion of ASL 1A, 1B, 1C,
or recommendation of ASL instructor.
