Location

Brooklyn, NY
Major:
Associate +Bachelor’s Degree; Finance/Accounting
Why I chose my major:

I am interested in studying business, because it will prepare me to begin the next step in starting a small business. I believe that I can make positive change in the U.S., and in the world through business.

Why I chose RIT:
For the outstanding support services for deaf students, and because I like the mix of hearing and deaf people on campus.
What I like best about RIT:

Playing basketball in the gym with my friends.

Best part of living on campus:

Living on my own away from my family.

Dream job:
To own a business.
Favorite professor:
Mellissa Youngman is my favorite accounting professor, because her lectures are very clear and easy to understand. She is cool with me and other students.
Favorite class:
Accounting was my favorite class, because I love math and learned something new about accounting through using Microsoft Excel. I got an A in that class, so that satisfied me, too.
What excites me about RIT:

Meeting many new people.

If I could tell prospective students only one thing about RIT/NTID, it would be:

RIT will become your second home.

Favorite place to eat in Rochester:
Wings over Rochester.
Favorite movie:
“Thor”
Fun fact about me:

I didn’t know any sign language before I came to RIT, and I love music.

One thing I’ve always wanted to do but never have:
Participate in Humans vs. Zombies.
The one thing I can't live without:
My beautiful girlfriend.
