Workshop Agenda

Morning program may include: A workshop for students and parents by RIT/NTID faculty/counselors

that includes things to know and do in middle school that will help you in high school and college.

  • Leadership development
  • Awareness of career goals
  • Cultural awareness

Noon: Free lunch and conversation

Afternoon program for parents may include: A workshop for parents by RIT/NTID Admissions representatives:

  • What parents need to know and do about college
  • IEP process
  • High school/college preparedness
  • Information about RIT/NTID
  • Financial Aid Information

Afternoon program for students: A panel of deaf professionals will discuss their paths to success and answer questions.
