Established in 1989 to honor Eloise Thornberry, who served NTID for many years through the National Advisory Group, and to provide financial assistance to deaf students majoring in social work.

Established by Harriett Lichtenstein in 1999 to honor the memory of her son, Edward, a professor of English at NTID. This fund is designated to support deaf and hard-of-hearing students who are in vital need of scholarship support to continue their education. This scholarship will be administered with the assistance of the English Department.

Established in 1999 with a gift from Richard Hymes, Ralph's brother, the fund is designated to support deaf students enrolled in RIT's College of Liberal Arts.
