Droids and Drones Camp is gearing up for sumer of 2018, so if you are interested in attending, please let us know and we will send you information on the 2018 camp as soon as it is available.

Droids and Drones is a FREE summer program for deaf and hard-of-hearing students who will be entering grades 10 - 12 in fall 2018, who are in excellent academic standing and who are residents of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.*

If you are entering grade 10 – 12 in fall of 2018, RIT’s Droids and Drones summer program will help you explore a range of career options and opportunities in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and robotic technology. This information also can help you select a major as you begin to look at colleges.

Some of the things you will do:

  • Build your own drone to take home

  • Learn about various careers in UAV and robotics

  • Discover what types of careers fit your interests

  • Enjoy field trips to related facilities

  • Be part of hands-on demonstrations in robotic engineering, drone technology and aviation physics

  • Make new friends and have fun!
