NTID Services

  • The Academic Support Center (ASC) provides academic assistance to the RIT and Rochester communities.
  • Student Life Development Team provides the Student Development Education Program, and RITSign, disregard non-credit sign language courses for both hearing and deaf students.
  • Teach2Connect provides information on the services available for our NTID-supported baccalaureate-level students at RIT.

Financial Aid Resources

  • Yahoo's Student Financial Aid Guide contains links to several sources of scholarships, grants, loans, and other financial aid resources. A short description and note is found on each site.
  • Sallie Mae College Answer Online is a financial aid service which offers downloadable financial planning software, downloadable brochures, Financial Aid 101 multimedia course about paying for college, an on-line loan application, and a glossary of financial aid terms.
  • CollegeView's Financial Aid page has links to all kinds of materials to help you understand and apply for financial aid as well as a mega-link to a very comprehensive list of additional financial aid resources.
  • The United States Department of Education has information on obtaining the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms over the Internet, and instructions on how to electronically submit the forms.

Career Planning

  • The Careers Page of the Collegeview web site contains information about how to choose a career, find a job, and keep or change a job. It also links to a very comprehensive listing of career resuorces that covers information on the entire career exploration from decision making through finding and maintaining employment.
  • The What Color is Your Parachute: Net Guide offers on-line job hunting assistance by guiding the net surfer through mega lists of resources. In addition to general job hunting "gateway sites", there is additional information and more lists of sites categorized on the topics of job listing resume, getting career counseling, making contacts, and finding information/research resources.

Colleges and Universities

  • The Collegeview College Search allows you to search their database of over 3,500 colleges and universities and even take a multimedia tour of many of these colleges.
