I've loved drawing and painting since I was a child, so I decided to pursue a career in graphic design. What attracted me to RIT was its well-known art and design program, and that there are so many deaf and hard-of-hearing people like me who attend RIT. The interpersonal relationships I've developed here help me to better communicate and build relationships with people.

My favorite classes within my major are logo making, drawing, and design. The faculty is so supportive and encouraging here. They provide constructive feedback on my work, and once I incorporate their suggestions, my designs become even more visually pleasing. Using their suggestions will help me in my job after I graduate.
