If you’re interested in a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and service management, there’s no better choice than an RIT 2 +2 (associate + bachelor’s degree) program. Our 2+2 program offers you access to high-caliber academic programs and unparalleled academic support.
You start with a two-year Associate of Science (AS) transfer degree program in Hospitality and Service Management offered by RIT’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf. This program provides you with courses and credits you need to transfer to and successfully complete a baccalaureate program in RIT’s College of Applied Science and Technology. Upon successful completion of your AS program, you will transfer directly to the College of Applied Science and Technology, where you can choose to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Service Management with a concentration in Hotel and Resort Management or Food Management.
The field of hospitality and service management continues to grow, and RIT graduates are in demand. As a graduate of the Hospitality and Service Management program, you’ll be prepared for a wide variety of career choices that include, but are not limited to, hotel/resort management, meeting and convention management, special event planning, food management, corporate travel management, and food marketing sales and distribution.
As a Hospitality and Service Management student, you’re required to complete three cooperative work experiences (co-op) in the hospitality and service management field. Extensive training, along with your co-ops, will give you the skills and experience that can lead to an exciting career in the hospitality and service management industry.
