Class Description
Provides an overview of United States history beginning in 1607 and continuing through the 20th century. The course introduces students to issues, ideas and people influential in shaping our country’s past. It focuses on major political, economic and social developments as well as contributions and perspectives of diverse cultural groups. The course increases students’ knowledge of American history and prepares them for further history courses.
