Studies the characteristics and elements of theater/performing arts, emphasizing the principles that have guided theater productions through history. The course examines the ways that theater influences and is influenced by cultures and by individual life experience. Particular attention is paid to the development of performing arts by and for deaf persons. This course satisfies part of the humanities requirement.
