Humanities
In order to fully participate in the mainstream of society, NTID graduates need more than technical skills. The humanities curriculum provides students with a foundation in history, philosophy and fine art, and contributes to providing students with a well-rounded education.
Courses expose students to ideas, events and artistic expressions which have influenced people's lives and had an impact on the development of Western civilization. The humanities curriculum is intended to broaden and deepen students' knowledge and prepare them for further study.
Course offerings introduce students to basic concepts and terminology in the humanities and focus on topics within particular areas of study.
