Literature
The study of literature opens the door to life-long learning and appreciation of the world's cultures and languages, so necessary in today's workplace.
Courses in the NTID literature curriculum are designed to provide meaningful examination of a range of literary works and genres. The literature curriculum also strengthens and further develops students' reading, writing and critical thinking skills, thereby enhancing their performance in the college setting. Students acquire basic terms used to categorize literary works and learn to identify literary elements. In addition, students acquire literary analysis skills and practice writing about literature.
