Social Sciences

The social sciences curriculum encompasses the fields of anthropology, economics, political science, psychology and sociology. The curriculum is intended to develop students' knowledge of key concepts and principles in the social sciences through the study of contemporary personal, social, cultural and technological issues. In addition to focusing on discipline content, academic skills in the areas of communication, literacy and reasoning are emphasized in social sciences courses.
