There’s no question that RIT/NTID has one of the most modern, high-tech campuses in the nation. You’ll use laptop computers in your classroom for hands-on instruction and practice, and you’ll work on state-of-the-art equipment in specialized classrooms and labs.

Hardware Lab - Take a 360-degree tour! (Requires Quicktime Player)
In this lab, you’ll work on both PCs and MACs to develop hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting skills. You’ll use a selection of computer components along with hardware/software diagnostic tools to develop skills in upgrading, repairing, and maintaining computers and computer peripherals.
Networking Lab - Take a 360-degree tour! (Requires Quicktime Player)
In this lab, you’ll work with various platforms of client and server computer systems to develop hands-on networking skills. You’ll use an assortment of networking equipment including routers and bridges along with networking hardware/software diagnostic and security tools to develop skills in setting up, maintaining, and securing computer networks.
Multimedia Lab - Take a 360-degree tour! (Requires Quicktime Player)
In this lab, you’ll have access to PCs and multimedia servers to develop hands-on skills in Web development. You’ll use a variety of Web applications and database management systems to create interactive websites.
Self-instruction Lab
In this lab, you’ll have access to computers that have all the software used in the program so you can complete assignments independently as well as access email and resources on the Web. This lab is open during the day, evening, and weekends for your convenience.
