If you like to draw, if you are curious about how things work, if you think you can improve the design of something you use every day, computer aided drafting (CAD) may be just the major for you. CAD uses the computer as a drafting tool. You will create technical drawings to explain what something should look like and how things go together. Some examples of the kinds of things CAD designers create are blueprints for houses and commercial buildings, diagrams for highways, drawings for car and mechanical parts, and more.
