An associates degree in Computer Integrated Machining Technology puts you on the fast track to a successful career! Find out why, and read stories from alumni who graduated from RIT/NTID with an associate degree and went on to successful and rewarding careers and lives.

The Computer Integrated Machining Technology program will prepare you for a career in a variety of settings, including manufacturing and metalworking industries, and engineering, or engineering research firms. This program prepares you for immediate employment upon graduation.

Graduates of the CIMT program are well prepared for jobs such as computer numerical control operator or CNC programmer trainee, or they may specialize as tool and die makers, instrument makers, mold makers, pattern makers, model makers, or machinists.
