Share experiences
The RIT Cochlear Implant Group is organized by Catherine Clark, Cochlear Implant Specialist. Students, faculty and staff with cochlear implants meet throughout the year. The group meets for updates in cochlear implant technology/services, to share college experiences with other cochlear implant users, to serve as panelists for presentations on cochlear implants and to plan future events.
We hold a welcome reception each fall. Contact Catherine Clark, Cochlear Implant Specialist at cccnca@rit.edu if you'd like to be added to the Cochlear Implant Group's mailing list.
Socializing
Our students have a wide range of experiences with cochlear implants and college life. If you are a new cochlear implant recipient, you will benefit from the experience of long term users. Upperclassmen can advise freshman and transfer students on adjusting to college life at RIT.
