Cochlear implant specialists can help
There are many students with cochlear implants at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID), and the numbers are growing. NTID first began serving students with cochlear implants in 1984. Currently, there are over 200 students with cochlear implants on campus.
The Communication Studies and Services Department has several cochlear implant specialists who offer a wide range of services to students with cochlear implants in the college community. Specialists also field inquiries concerning cochlear implants from outside the college community.
If you need an appointment with a cochlear implant specialist, please contact Kathy Tyson.
