1. To serve as an advocacy and support group for Deaf Professionals at RIT.
2. To provide a forum for Deaf Professionals to discuss issues related to their roles as professionals and employees in the
RIT working environment.
3. To collaboratively assist the RIT community in promoting an optimal and healthy environment in which diversity and pluralism
is valued, encouraged and supported.
4. To consistently foster mentorship and networking opportunities for Deaf professionals to gain leadership skills and
professionals development as well as provide leadership in the RIT community.
