Subject: Extended Call for Nominations - Award of Excellence (AoE)
The Deaf Professional Group's (DPG) Award of Excellence (AoE) award is presented annually during the Spring Quarter to hearing
member(s) of the RIT/NTID community. The award is established as a means of recognizing our colleagues for their dedication,
persistence, and commitment to improving the quality of life for all deaf and hard of hearing people.
The AoE was established in 1990 to recognize and applaud hearing Administrator, faculty, and staff at NTID for their
contributions to the betterment of our Deaf community.
The DPG's AoE committee has extended the deadline for accepting nominations for the Award of
Excellence award. Only deaf and hard of hearing Administrator/faculty/staff members may nominate candidate(s) for this award.
Please fill out the nomination form below, make several hard copies and encourage your deaf and hard of hearing colleagues to
discover the best candidate! You are welcome to submit a videotape in addition to this nomination form.
You may send your nomination either through e-mail to Astrid Jones via aajnsl@rit.edu -or- at his office SDC-1217
by Friday, May 18th 2007. This year's recipient will be announced at the annual DPG reception
on Tuesday, June 5th 2007 at 11:30am in the Student Development Center # 1310.
