Researchers at RIT/NTID have developed a test to screen deaf and hard-of-hearing adults for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Having an accurate assessment - in the client's preferred language - is critical in determining what treatment or other actions may be most beneficial.

NTID Teacher From Chili Honored for Service | June 23, 2009
NTID's Sally Skyer was given this year's Community Service Award from Rochester Deaf Rotary. She was recognized not only for her years of teaching and counseling students, but also for her community service, including Hope's Basket, a program that supports deaf women with breast cancer.

A new Web site intended to be a clearinghouse for questions about raising and educating a deaf child has been launched by the Center for Education Research Partnerships at RIT/NTID. RIT/NTID Alumnus Finishes The Amazing Race | May 11, 2009
Rochester Institute of Technology alumnus Luke Adams '08 (criminal justice) and his mother, Margie, came up short in their quest to win the hit CBS reality drama The Amazing Race.
