Working Together: Deaf and Hearing People is an interactive,
experiential workshop that fosters the sensitivity and skills for deaf,
hard-of-hearing and hearing colleagues to work together successfully,
leading to increased productivity for all. This two and a half hour
workshop is for supervisors and co-workers, human resources personnel,
and equal employment opportunity and affirmative action professionals
and will cover these topics:
- Understanding Hearing Loss and Deaf Employees
- Communication on the Job
- Strategies to Help You Integrate Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Employees Into the Workplace
- Accommodations for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Employees
