Am I moving into my permanent housing for the year?

After the conclusion of NSP on Aug. 12, you will have three options. If you select options 1 or 2 below, then yes, upon arrival for NSP you will be moving into your permanent aasigned housing for the school year.

  1. You can remain at RIT in your permanent room until RIT Freshman Move-in Day on Aug. 22 and pay $50/day for housing (a total cost of $450) plus meal costs. This will give you the opportunity to remain on campus until all students move-in.
  2. You can remain at RIT in your permanent room and pay $50/day for housing and attend one of the Discover RIT Pre-orientation programs that begin on Aug. 19. The total cost for this option will be $300 for housing on non-program days/nights plus the cost of the DiscoverRIT Program and meal costs. Fees for Discover programs vary by individual program.
