Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf
The RID is a national organization of professionals who provide interpreting services to deaf and haring people.
The RID publishes a monthly newsletter, VIEWS, that carries feature articles, job announcements, and news of upcoming workshops. Other RID publications include a journal, materials for professional development, and a directory of certified and associate members.
There are several special interest groups that will soon be called membership sections including EdITOR (Educational Interpreters and Transliterators of RID) that have information to support interpreters who interpret for specialized settings
