Craig grew up in Kennesaw and Marietta, Ga., and attended mainstreamed schools through 8th grade. His family then moved to Florida so he and his sister, Kimberly, who is also hard of hearing, could be closer to the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind. A former Boy Scout, Craig has aspirations to become a pilot.
