Janay Mitchell

Janay was born in Louisiana but moved to Massachusetts when she was 9 years old. She was born hearing and was diagnosed hard of hearing when she was two. Janay is president of the NTID Ebony Club and was a community student advocate for the NTID Student Life Team, working as a mentor for new students.

It has the best of both worlds - hearing and deaf together, and access services.

That I was born in Tallulah, Louisiana.

Gumbo, curry chicken.
