Arrival and Contact Information

We are excited you’ll be traveling to Rochester to participate in the EYF program. Please see the Frequently Asked Questions page to learn more about the details of your week at RIT. Below are a few last minute details to keep in mind when traveling to campus. Please share this information with your parents so they will know how to assist you as you travel/arrive.

  • You are responsible for arranging transportation to the program. From the airport, train or bus station, shuttle transportation is available directly to RIT for $15.00 each way (includes fare and tip). Let us know if you want shuttle transportation and we will make reservations. If you want to confirm what you have told us call 585-475-6700 V/TDD 8:30-5 pm Monday – Friday or email: EYFinfo@rit.edu.
  • An RIT – EYF staff member will be available to greet you at the train, bus station, airport according to the transportation schedule you requested. Look for the Apple Transportation representative or a person holding a sign marked ‘EYF’. We’ll be looking for you too! Should your schedule change at the last minute contact Ernie DiSalvo from Apple Transportation at 585-427-7330.
  • Check in – Move in – Registration: Arrive at Ellingson Hall between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm on the Saturday that the session starts (Session I: July 19; Session II: July 26). Ellingson is building 50A on this map and located just behind building 60- LBJ where many of the program activities will occur. You can drive up to the circle in front of the building to unload your belongings and then park in lot L.
