FutureQuest is a free workshop offered by Rochester Institute of Technology to help deaf and hard-of-hearing high school students and their parents plan for the future – whether it be the transition from high school to college or from high school to work.
Students: Enjoy fun self-awareness activities and learn what you are good at, what you are interested in and what things you like to do that could become your focus — or your major — in college.
Parents: Help your students begin to think about life after high school and what choices will help him or her on the path to a successful life. If your child chooses to continue his or her education, you'll get important information about financial aspects of college, and the support and access services that will help your child succeed.
One of the most important — and challenging — events in the life of a high school student is the transition from high school to college or from high school to the world of work.
FutureQuest presenters are experienced education professionals who will help you and your student focus on his or her strengths and abilities as you consider options and make important decisions about the future.
