Where will I stay?
Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) provides lodging at the Radisson Hotel for Friday and Saturday nights. RIT will provide lodging for up to 8 students per school and up to 2 coaches per school. The Radisson is located within walking distance of RIT.
Parents and any additional school staff members who are not coaches will be responsible for their own hotel reservations and expenses. If you are making your own reservations, call the Radisson at 585-475-1910 and inform them you are with RIT's Math Competition group. The discount rate is $94.00 for one to four persons in a room.
If a parent is attending as a coach/chaperone, then RIT will cover all lodging as stated above.

Registration
Friday, April 8th
3pm – 5pm at the Radisson Hotel
When does the program end and when is check out?
The 2011 Math Competition weekend ends at 10:00am on Sunday, April 10th.
The Radisson Hotel's van will be available to shuttle travelers to the airport.
How about transportation to the program?
You and your family or chaperones are responsible for arranging transportation to the program. We recommend that if you are flying, you fly into the Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC), not to the airport in Buffalo.
Why should I fly to Rochester if Buffalo is cheaper?
Even though the flight to Buffalo may be cheaper, Buffalo is at least an hour away and the ground transportation from there to Rochester actually makes the trip more expensive.
If you are flying into the Rochester airport, the Radisson Hotel has courtesy shuttle service to/from the airport. There are courtesy phones in the airport, or you may call the Radisson directly at 585-475-1910 to request shuttle service once you arrive in Rochester.
How do I get there?
See the printable map and directions.
When will I know when I am officially registered and what happens after that?
After you have registered online, you must print the forms on the downloadable forms page. Fill them out, and have your parents sign them. The forms need to be completed and sent back to us by February 11, 2011.
When we receive your registration forms and payment or an authorization of payment we will inform you of your secured place in the competition. We will then send you training materials.
What do the coaches do during the competition?
We offer a coaches' forum as a way for the coaches to discuss strategies and ideas for math skill development and to share ideas.
