Our mission is to improve the lives of deaf and hard-of-hearing people through research that can be applied in the classroom, workplace and society. We recognize that collaboration across departments and disciplines is key to fulfilling this mission, and the National Science Foundation has listed NTID as an "underrepresented institution" in the category of institutions serving people with disabilities.
