Kevin Mowl Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2009, the Kevin Mowl Memorial Endowed Scholarship provides academic scholarships annually to deaf or hard-of-hearing students who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to serve their community. The scholarship was established to honor Kevin Mowl, who on February 25, 2008 died from injuries sustained in Iraq while serving as a member of the U.S. Army. Kevin attended Pittsford schools until his junior year and graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy near Philadelphia in 2003. He is remembered for his love of history, politics, world travel and above all else, outstanding service to his community and country.
