Are speech-language services required at NTID?

Nobody is required to take speech-language services at NTID. However, any NTID student has the option to request speech-language services at anytime while they are here. We prefer that students discuss their needs with a faculty member first, and you can request these services by filling out the Student Request for Speech and Language Services Form or contact the department secretary, Linda Valint, LBJ-3850, in person. Remember, all student are eligible for services and there is no financial charge for them.
