Droids and Drones is a FREE summer program for deaf and hard-of-hearing students who will be entering grades 10 - 12 in fall 2018, who are in excellent academic standing and who are residents of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.*

If you are entering grade 10 – 12 in fall of 2018, RIT’s Droids and Drones summer program will help you explore a range of career options and opportunities in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and robotic technology. This information also can help you select a major as you begin to look at colleges.

Enrollment is limited to 40 students so apply today!

Some of the things you will do:

  • Build your own droid and a drone to take home

  • Learn about various careers in UAV and robotics

  • Discover what types of careers fit your interests

  • Enjoy field trips to related facilities

  • Be part of hands-on demonstrations in robotic engineering, drone technology and aviation physics

  • Make new friends and have fun!
