Why I chose my major:

Because I love space and I'd love to build rockets and satellites to be launched.

Why I chose RIT:
Because of its amazing deaf/hard-of-hearing population, and for its outstanding reputation.
What I like best about RIT:

Being around other deaf people.

Best part of living on campus:

Being able to get anywhere using the tunnels.

Dream job:
Satellite systems engineer for Lockheed Martin.
Favorite spot on campus:

Construct, located on the fourth floor of Institute Hall.

Favorite professor:
Professor Jason Lee because he's always treated me like an equal and his teaching style is very lively!
Favorite class:
My favorite class is Fundamentals of Engineering because I enjoy the projects and the work we do in class.
What excites me about RIT:

Being surrounded by similar individuals who have the same experiences as me (ex: growing up in a deaf school and switching to a mainstream school).

If I could tell prospective students only one thing about RIT/NTID, it would be:

RIT's large numbers may overwhelm you, but there's something for everyone here—you'll definitely fit in!

Favorite place to eat in Rochester:
Favorite movie:
“A Few Good Men.”
Fun fact about me:

I'm a huge space nerd! I love talking about space. It's my favorite topic to talk about.

One thing I’ve always wanted to do but never have:
Go on a nationwide road trip and visit all the cool museums across the country.
The one thing I can't live without:
