Location
Buffalo, NY
Major:
Civil Engineering Technology
Why I chose my major:
It fits my interest.
Why I chose RIT:
My brother came here and when I visited him I liked the campus. I also attended NTID’s math competition, EYF summer camp program and an Open House, and I loved all of these programs. I knew I would fit in at RIT. I also chose the college because of the awesome support services I receive here, and I knew I might not get that level of support at other colleges.
What I like best about RIT:
The Deaf community…NTID is the heart of it. The access services I get at RIT/NTID are awesome.
Best part of living on campus:
Being close to school and being able to connect with friends.
Dream job:
Work for a civil engineering company.
Favorite spot on campus:
Global Village, sitting under the chain of lights.
Favorite class:
Classes that are related to my major because it is something that I enjoy learning about.
What excites me about RIT:
The Deaf community is awesome.
If I could tell prospective students only one thing about RIT/NTID, it would be:
RIT/NTID is a top-notch school!
Fun fact about me:
I love big bonfires and snowmobiles!
One thing I’ve always wanted to do but never have:
I am always up for a thrilling adventure…I always wanted to try bungee jumping (I did skydiving last year).
