The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) is a U.S. Department of Defense agency that primarily serves military service members. As the world’s largest finance and accounting organization, DFAS processes military, civilian, retiree and travel and contract/vendor pay. It also manages military health care and benefits funds. DFAS employs a diverse workforce in several locations:
