A music video of the popular “Let It Go” song, from the Disney movie Frozen, performed in American Sign Language with an all-deaf cast and crew has generated more than 43,000 views since its release less than 24 hours ago.
It stars two graduates from Rochester Institute of Technology’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf whose prior performances have been viewed by millions.
Famous deaf actor Bernard Bragg has maintained a lifelong connection with the NTID Performing Arts Department throughout his storied career beginning with his lifelong friendship with Robert Panara to his time as a visiting professor at NTID. Today, Bragg’s personal collection of correspondence, photographs, articles and other memorabilia is being shared with students as part of the RIT/NTID Deaf Studies Archive.
For nearly 20 years, Joe Hamilton has been behind the scenes of more than 100 productions at RIT/NTID. He and his theater practicum students have designed, constructed and painted those scenes. Watch video.
